A Baby Shower fot benefit WAM

The missions Committee will be hosting a baby shower on June 1, 2014 during coffee hour to benefit the Women's Advocate Ministry (WAM ). WAM advocates for incarcerated women and their children. They provide clothing for babies born in the Bedford Hills and Rikers Island Correctional facilities. We need NEW clothing for children from size newborn - toddler 2. Other items like baby blankets, hats, pacifiers are welcome, no baby formula or disposable diapers are accepted. If you cannot attend the baby shower, you may give your gift ahead of time to me ( Vida Owusu ), Christine Hoff or Lois Fallon.

Peace with Justice Sunday

June 15, 2014 is Peace with Justice Sunday. A special offering will be taken to help spread the gospel of peace and cooperation.

Pastor Lee's Farewell Service

Please join us as we say farewell to our beloved Pastor, and his wife Hyeonjin, on Sunday June 22nd. This will be their last service with us, as they are relocating to West Haven, CT. to serve there. Come join us in celebrating their 9 years of service with us. We will have a reception following the service. Please come out, and support!

Independence Day Service

On Sunday June 29th, we will celebrate Independence Day, and our service will be all patriotic music. Our instrumentalists will be joining us as we sing “America, the Beautiful”, “God Bless, America”, and many more. Once again, we will close the service with “Stars and Stripes Forever”.

Potluck Celebration Luncheon Honoring Sungmu & Hyeonjin

After nine years of leadership and Service here in Bay Shore, our Christian brother and sister Sungmu and Hyeonjin are being called to serve another congregation. Please mark your calendars for Sunday June 29th after Worship to participate in the "Potluck to End All Potlucks" as we celebrate our friendship and fellowship with Sungmu and Hyeonjin.
