Reverend Daehyun (Daniel) Park

Reverend Park was appointed Pastor of the Bay Shore United Methodist Church in July 2023. He previously served as Pastor at Bethelship Norwegian UMC in Brooklyn.

Pastor Daniel holds the following degrees

• Master of Theology from Methodist Theological University.
• Master of Art in Theology from Drew University.
• Master of Divinity from Drew University.

Pastor Daniel was born on May 1st, 1979 in Busan, South Korea. He came to the U.S. in 2009 to study for the ministry. His mother and younger sister's family still live in Korea.

It is a joy and honor to welcome Pastor Daniel as he answers God's call to minister to Bay Shore, Brightwaters, and beyond. As members of the oldest house of worship in Bay Shore, we recommit to join Pastor Daniel in serving God and our neighbors as we build and strengthen our community, the nation, and the world God has entrusted to our care.
