Thanks for Carolers & Christmas Dinner

On Sunday December 16th our church carolers and an eleven piece band (an all time record) visited Clara Trotta with the residents of the Arbors in Bohemia, Naomi Frieje at home, and Jean Stark with the residents of Sunrise Manor.  We sang and played with those we visited and gave out over 90 caroling lyric books as gifts.

Although attendance was light at the Soup Kitchen compared to previous years, on Thursday December 20th we served the best Christmas Dinner in town to over 25 people and followed it up with a four piece band leading a caroling singalong.  We sent our guests home with big plates of leftovers, and the extras were frozen to hold for the week and served on December 27th.

Thanks to all the servers, cooks, singers, and musicians who served God and our neighbors and friends in these ministries.

Happy New Year!
